Maxwell Nolin is an accomplished and classically trained oil portrait painter with an impressive background. He has studied in such art-focused parts of the world as Florence, Italy and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. He has exhibited his work in galleries from Camden, Maine to Boston. And he is now accepting commissions throughout the country.

Maxwell starts each project with quiet, careful observations of his subject. He studies their spirit and energy, and then begins work on a composition with the intent of transcending their physical appearance by offering a glimpse of the subject’s personality and soul.
